He sounded like Michael Corleone and Tony Montana while he was screaming. His right hand during the fight looks like a chicken wing. Download movie the irishman cast. They should have stayed in the grocery store and left the beating to the imagination. Thumps, clatters, the guy screaming, etc. Instead, we see a wobbly old man delivering a few feeble kicks and stepping on the guy's hand. Laughable. Still a great movie overall, though.
Those were the worst kicks I've ever seen a two year old would hit harder 😂.
This should be the part where director goes, Cut! CUT.

Scorsese has done it again. He has delivered another brilliant film, not without its flaws though cause it does feel like a slight let down at times.
The film is extremely ambitious and clocking in at a whopping 3 hours 29 minutes, it doesn't always prove it's necessity to be that long although I loved every minute. The only real flaw I have is that it doesn't have that style and excitement previous Scorsese films have.
The Irishman is arguably the most mature Scorsese film to date. And it's a refreshing take on the genre. It's much of a reflective, more bleaker tone to it than the glamorous mob films. Scorsese paired with Shoomaker is a match made in heaven. They are both incredible here.
The performances are brilliant. Robert De Niro gives his finest performance since Casino. Al Pacino and Joe Pesci are awesome as well, both who are outstanding. Supporting cast are brilliant as well. The CGI is noticable at times but you quickly don't notice after a while.
I think it's definitely a film which needs to be rewatched cause I'm sure my thoughts on the film will be better but what we got is 209 minute epic. It's a really fascinating film. There are some incredible moments throughout and it's really character driven which I really liked. It's a slow burner but never boring at all.
Overall it's an impressive film even with a few flaws. Its seriously worth watching and the last 30 minutes are really something special.
